RECLAIM (REMOTE EQUIPMENT FOR COMBINING LOCALLY ACQUIRED IMAGES AND METADATA) is a laptop based unit that has been designed to allow personnel to quickly organise, describe and classify images and video that have been captured with a digital camera. Selected material can be categorised using a variety of predefined drop down fields and free-text entry. The description data and images can then easily be burned to CD/DVD for distribution. The CD/DVD contains a browseable set of images/video and data which can be viewed from any PC as well as an editable report document. Standard database file formats are also available on the output disk including Cambridge Imaging Systems' own Imagen database import file.
